Connections are so important in our lives. We connect with family, friends, colleagues, neighbors, and people we do not even know with whom we interact as we go about our lives.
Sometimes, it is easy to connect with others, and at other times, not so much. For some, family is close by, but for others, family can live miles away. Thankfully, with today’s technology, we can connect instantly via text or IM, email, or a phone call. But, what about letter writing or sending a card to someone?
According to The Fountain Pen Network, letter writing became a basic part of everyday life throughout the 19th century. Fascinating! In my opinion, sending a letter or card is such a great way to show someone just how special they are to you – that you hold them in your heart.
My granddaughter will be celebrating her birthday at the end of March, and I wanted to create a very special card for her! I also created a video of me making this special card and I had such a fun time making it! You can watch the video below.
